Description
From the sellerThis is indeed a true one-of-a-kind advertising rarity. These wooden staved buckets were the first shipping containers used by Armour and Company in 1918 to transport its new White Cloud shortening to bakeries, grocery stores and large farmsteads. They were hand made by a cooper, and typically held 53 pounds. Outside of some minor rust on the metal bands and hoop clips, this piece is in excellent condition. Very few, if any other than this one, exist today.
