My Great Uncle bought this antique silk needlework art “painting”in Japan in 1945…he was there for the Peace Treaty signing In Tokyo Bay…He gave the silk painting to my Grandma when he returned home from WWII…it became mine when she died…this is an exquisite example of fine vintage art…thousands of silk threads lovingly embroidered and brought to life!…it is a painstaking piece of Old World artistry…I love it but I’m elderly now and need to downsize some of my treasures
