From the sellerIt is said that Rollinson began making cloth dolls in the early 1900s to give as Christmas gifts to children with disabilities. Their popularity quickly outpaced her ability to produce them by hand, leading The Utley Co. of Holyoke, Massachusetts, to manufacture her designs.
