From the seller…… This auction is for a rare antique, circa 1940s Starr Brothers Bell Company Bicycle Bell featuring an embossed Indian Chief wearing a feathered headdress. The bell is marked “The Starr Bros. Bell Co. East Hampton, Conn.” The Starr Brothers Bell Company was a major American manufacturer located in East Hampton, Connecticut that operated from 1882 until 1954. … This pressed steel Bike Bell retains its original polychrome cold-painted surface which does have some light, expected surface wear. There are no other problems or any restorations and this bell still rings when the thumb lever is pressed.
