Rare 1950's K&M A-1 Sterling Silver Plated Long Handled Tea Strainer & Drip Bowl

The product is a rare mid-century (probably 1950's) Kirk or Kirkanson and Matz (K&M) A-1 standard sterling silver plated over-the-cup long handled tea strainer with a catch or drip bowl. Made by Kirk and Matz in the England, this early Edwardian styled perforated tea strainer features beautifully crafted ornate handles: a Saint Edward's Crown on the short handle side and the decorated long handle side is reminiscent of the Sovereign's Sceptre.
