Description

From the seller
The vintage decoy is an 18” swan carved and painted by Capn. Harry Jobes in 1983 in Maryland, USA. Made of wood with a solid body, this vintage hunting piece is a rare find for collectors of duck decoys. Although it has some damage, it still holds historical and decorative value for those interested in traditional sporting goods and handicrafts. The neck has a crack, as shown, and there are paint spatters on the body. The paint is peeling in places; original paint. Could be repainted, if desired. The decoy is 18 inches long and is signed and dated on the bottom. In spite of some condition issues, it displays very nicely.
