Nice cobalt blue peripheral toning on the obverse. We were only able to purchase four of these, representing the Nugget Creek Mine Area in Alaska. Mintage is 22 or Rarity 6. This listing is for ONE privately minted and silver hand-struck die trial strike token by Dick Hanscom of Alaska. A small number of die trial pieces are hand-struck before the actual gold strikes. The silver came from native Alaska silver ore. Each weighs approximately 3.20g / diameter of 16 mm/thickness of 2mm. Dick quit selling these rare die trial pieces to the public years ago.
