Shown is a polished malachite lid that had fit onto a box but the box has broke. The listing is for the lid only. The locality is Kolwezi, Katanga Copper Crescent, Katanga, Democratic Republic of Congo (Zaïre). The overall dimensions for this piece are 2” wide by 2" tall and 1/8" front to back. There is some light scratches and a few dings along the edges. All weights and measurements of the piece are approximate.
