Polish Pottery French Style Butter Keeper - Sapphire Fields Pattern

This is a French style butter keeper made by Polish Pottery manufacturer Ceramika Artystycnza. It is a Unikat pattern (U4629). I purchased this sometime around 2020. It has been gently used and cared for and has no damage of any type. This butter keeper is approximately 3 in tall and approximately 4.5 in wide at the lid rim. It will hold up to about 2 standard sticks of butter and allows you to keep butter on the counter by sealing the butter under a small layer of water. The butter goes in the ceramic cylinder attached to the lid. Then you place a small amount of water in the base jar and put the lid on the jar.
