This Plasto Mfg Crawling Baby Wall Plaque is a charming vintage collectible piece perfect for nursery décor. Made in the USA in Chicago, by Plasto Mfg Co, which was founded in 1945, this vintage chalkware baby features curly hair, blue eyes, and a cute crawling pose. Measuring 7 1/2 inches in length and 4 3/4 inches in height with a depth of 1 1/2 inches, this piece is impressed with the Manufacturer’s name behind the right arm, and the word “Dear,” impressed in script, on the palm of the right hand. Other ones from this manufacturer lack the showy glam of this special model. It is in good condition overall, but there is some chipping in the glaze on the hair over the right ear, as shown in the last photo.
