For your consideration is a Penn 501 Jigmaster also known as a Jigmaster junior. It is in excellent plus condition and comes with a modified spool that was made by Micky Altenkirch in Hampton Bays Long Island. The concept was when fishing very light line, you didn’t need to have thousands of yards on your reel. It was designed with light tackle record fishing in mind. The click wheel has been removed so as to not add to the drag if accidentally engaged but is available and will be enclosed with the reel. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
