From the sellerI think that the two probes are positioned so as to simultaneously record both the amount, and the timing, of radioactivity that appears in each of the patient's kidneys. Unlike most high blood pressure, "renovascular hypertension" was potentially curable by surgery, making the identification of these patients through sophisticated imaging and blood tests a priority.
