Ornate 8" Two Piece Victorian Style Silverplate Candle Holder Pair ~ Vintage

This superb set has an excellent overall appearance but does include a couple of slight dents and would definitely need polishing. No makers marks are present, but the numbers 657 are faintly hand engraved on the bottom of one and 48006 along with 657 1/2 are displayed on the bottom of the other. All markings are difficult to see - much less photograph, but some can be viewed in the 6th photo. The included container was most probably the original gift box from Famous & Barr department store in St. Louis, MO when purchased new.
