Issued by the Province of North Carolina under the December 1771 Act of Assembly. Hand-signed and serial numbered (No. 2140) with the dove vignette and colonial-era typography. A genuine piece of pre-Revolutionary American history dating to the reign of King George III. Condition is circulated with expected age-related wear, toning, staining, and handling marks.
