From the sellerThis auction is for a weather radio for parts or repair. I put some batteries in it and it came on, but you could hear the NOAA guy, but there was a lot of static. good luck. 12-8-2025 Okay did a little experimenting put some batteries in and I put those pictures up to show that it does power on still has the bad static I believe the speaker needs to be replaced I plugged in some headphones and you can hear the Noah guy just fine no static I mean a little static just from being over the air but nothing like when you don't have the headphones plugged in I hope this helps
