Description
From the sellerA nice Ordovician cystoid - Pleurocystites squamosus - from the Bobcaygeon Formation near Brechin, Ontario. Cystoids are echinoderms, related to starfish and sand dollars. This specimen is about 4 cm long or 1.5 inches. The respiratory pores are very easy to see on this specimen. This plate also has a portion of a crinoid stem and the basal plates of the calyx.
