Here is an old string of phallic silver pieces from the Afar people of eastern Ethiopia. Worn indicating a softer alloy of silver, probably coin silver. These red spacer beads are old Venician White Heart beads, irregular and authentic. These were collected in the market town of Bati, where the Afar people would trade front the desert. I’ve been there many times and it’s an amazing place. Getting hard to find. Weight 49g.
