Old English Dickens Character Brass Tea Caddy Spoon c 1911

An unusual and old English brass tea caddy spoon. It is of a Charles Dickens character wearing a waistcoat and with his hands in his pockets at the top above a molded twist handle. The bowl is attached by molded fleur de lis on the front and reverse and the spoon stem is a very detailed barley twist. The overall measurement of the piece is 6 1/4" in length and the bowl is 1 5/8" in diameter. It is marked on the base of the bowl with a crown, a T in a heart shape and the registry number 593232 for the year 1911. This is an estate item and is in very good original condition and just needs a good polishing.
