This is an absolutely incredible Czech Neiger Brothers Blue Scarab Egyptian Revival Art Glass Pendant Necklace dating to the Art Nouveau period. The fabulous Max Neiger jewel from Czechoslovakia made in the 1920s-1930s has magnificent scarab motif designs with a fabulous star motif at the bottom. The scarab jewels are the most famous of the Max Neiger creations and we have shown a book photo of the Neiger scarab necklaces. The blue art glass Czech beads are absolutely fantastic with the wonderful scarab image on both sides. The blue and yellow bead star motif pendant is a wonderful addition to the necklace. NEIGER BROTHERS The Neiger brothers – Norbert and Max were born in Gablonz, Czechoslavakia – part of Bohemia’s famed glasswork and jewelry industry.
