Native American Turquoise Pendant on Liquid Silver. Marked Sterling and signed RB. Exceptionally beautiful large turquoise stone with exquisite matrix. Setting has excellent workmanship. The quality of the silverwork and the superb stone selected for this piece leads me to believe with some confidence that RB is Navaho craftsman Richard Begay. The silver tubes that make up the necklace are called liquid silver, an apt but poetic name for this type of work. Hook and eye closure with silver cones. About 24" long.
