From the sellerA lovely hand painted (gouache and watercolor) image from the Casa dei Vettii at Pompeii. Antonio Nappo was one of several prolific artists who copied scenes from the amusing depictions of winged Putti / Cherubs engaging in all manner of activities typical in the Roman world, one of the most popular having been Charioteering.
