From the sellerThis is A Historic Reproduction of a Bass Oboe By Mollenhauer a well respected maker of Recorders and other historic instruments. All tenons and leather over felt pads in fantastic condition and no cracks or noticable damage to the body or keywork. Gold plated brass keys and bocal. In C tuned to A=440 Comes with bass oboe reed and original case. Plays beautifully down to low C one octave bellow the oboe and a fourth lower than the English horn.
