From the sellerThe matte, airbrushed finish is very characteristic. A pair ofmid-century chalkware wall plaques depicting tropical birds—one a parrot or parakeet, the other resembling a lovebird or parrotlet. They were made as decorative wall hangings, probably between thelate 1940s and the 1960s.
