From the sellerThis is a large okimono carved from a solid piece of hardwood revealing an industrious rat pulling a bag full of treasures. The bag is larger than the rat so big in fact two other rats sit on top along for the ride. It feels provincial as the carving is simple in style. The proportions are good and well done just not overly detailed. Condition: excellent for age and normal use. Measurements: 9 1/2 inches long x by 3 1/2 inches wide. Weight: 1 lb 3oz 7g Origin: Japan Circa: Meiji 1900 most likely
