Matching Pair of 1929 Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority Key Pins

A rare matched pair of antique Delta Kappa Gamma (ΔKΓ) sorority key pins. Both pins are engraved with the date May 11, 1929: the actual founding date of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, a professional honor society for women educators. One pin is engraved “O.C.K.” and the other “J.B.” With the maker’s mark “DH·381” on the reverse. The pins are fitted with both a brooch clasp and a pendant loop at the top, allowing them to be worn as either a lapel pin or a charm/pendant. Gold in color, likely 10K gold. Excellent antique condition with minor age-appropriate wear. A wonderful piece of women’s educational history! nearly 100 years old and from the organization’s inaugural year.
