These banks were originally obtained from Circus Circus in Las Vegas, NV in the 1980’s. These vintage clown coin banks are typical of those produced in the 1960s - 1980s. Materials: They are generally made from blow-mold plastic or chalkware/ceramic. Design Details: They feature bright, colorful clothing such as polka-dotted suits, with some models designed with a "groovy" peace sign pose.Function: Each clown has a coin slot on the back and is designed with a removable plastic stopper at the bottom for retrieving money.
