Description
From the sellerVintage Marquetry inlaid wood of Madonna and Child. Inlaid light and dark colored wood of various species. Picture detail in part from different wood types and what appears to be brown ink. Picture is large compared to most marquetry plaques. Picture format is 21 1/2" x 15 1/2", with frame 24" x 18". Origin is unknown but icon appears Italian. Frame appears Mexican. Backing is board which looks like it was reframed at some time.
