A LARGE JAPANESE BRONZE FALCON VASE LAMP, MEIJI PERIOD, LATE 19TH CENTURY, the squat subtly scalloped and ribbed body with an elegant high upwardly swinging neck adorned by a separately cast and hand chased falcon perched atop the twisted stump of a sanzashi tree, raised on a hexagonal hardwood base, adapted for electricity. Height: total 49" lamp base 21” Diameter: 12”. Very heavy! Fully working condition. Shipping available but can also do free local pickup in Reno NV or SF Bay Area. This sale does not come with a lamp shade. I do have the original lampshade from the 1800s but it is falling apart. If you are interested in it email me.
