Scarce early original vintage silver gelatin Type l first generation press photograph shows a Marine taking time to befriend a native Korean woman and her child who is suffering from a head wound. Full caption is on back (see scan). This is not a copy or reproduction but a Type 1 first generation photograph developed from the original negative. Photograph measures 7 x 9 inches and is in excellent condition with just a few emulsion cracks at top.
