From the sellerThe Halite (Sodium Chloride) fluoresces bright Orange under Shortwave and Midwave UV Light. (Picture under SW UV) Halite from the Salton Sea itself does not fluoresce very well, but many years ago there was a hydrothermal well that blew out in the Salton Sea area.
