JC Agajanian's Ascot Park Official Racing Surface with COA Jar #133

Up for auction is a truly unique piece of motorsports history, an actual jar of the racing surface from one of the most prized intercity racetracks of all time. Ascot Raceway Park in Gardena, California featured some of the greatest names in motorsports history and was opened in 1957. Listed on the original COA are the names of some of the names of motorsports giants like Evel Knievel, Dale Earnhardt, AJ Foyt, Malcolm Smith, Steve McQueen, Paul Newman and many others. This may be a one-of-a-kind item or maybe one of a few hundred, listed as #133 of who knows how many but super unique for sure. The jar's rubber gasket is a bit worn and this item shows signs of its age. The certificate appears to be hand signed by Cary Agajanian and shows signs of aging/discoloration
