Jade Jadeite Sakyamuni Buddha 500AD. This is a VERY RARE piece. It was found in an ancient Chinese tomb. This explains why the Jade has taken on the earthen time it currently has, being in a tomb for hundreds of years. It appears to be Sakyamuni and two disciples. It is quite heavy, at least 20 pounds. There is writing carved on the back (pictures) and if you can translate, it may explain its history. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have
