HUGE Hand-Carved Wooden Parrot Made In 1970 - from famous Louisiana Restaurant

This hand-carved wooden statue resided at Ralph and Kacoo’s restaurant on Bluebonnet Boulevard in Baton Rouge from 1986 until the restaurant closed in 2020. Originally came from the 1st location on False River which opened in 1969. It shows some age for being around 50 years old: cracked wood; original paint flaking; one eye missing…but the character and history of this carving is what makes it so special. It has been part of Baton Rouge’s history for generations. Measures appropriately 3 feet 6 inches from head to tail and weighs around 35 pounds. Very unique piece of history. Adult signature will be required upon delivery.
