In the 1920s, the NH rebuilt thousands of its double sheathed 36’ boxcars. They were given Dreadnaught ends and Youngstown doors. In the 1940s, the NH owned over 17,000 36’ boxcars. These were signature cars that lasted into the 1960s. This beautifully painted and weathered F&C model is the only way to model this unique and ubiquitous NH car.
