Description
From the sellerHeinz Imperial #90, hand-blown clear glass from around 1888-1910, stamped "J.H. Heinz Company" on the bottom (that's the early branding before they went H.J.). The "90" is the mold code for their 17-ounce ketchup line, made at the Sharpsburg factory. The round body with those rope-like lines? Collectors call it "baseball stitching"—not flat panels, but vertical embossed twists or stitches running down the corners/edges, like seams on a baseball. It gives that segmented look: round... stitch... round... stitch... probably four of 'em, for grip and that fancy Victorian vibe. Super early, pre-octagon era (they switched to eight-sided in 1890), no plastic squeeze—just thump the bottom to get the ketchup flowing.
