From the seller
Open and turned on unit. Bulbs lit. Noise out of speaker, then it warmed up. AM- pretty sensitive, received Dallas. Then Tuned in St. Louis. Heard other stations. This is inside a metal building in Louisiana. Shortwave bands-tuned picked up birdies with a 2’ long piece of wire inside a metal building. Also scratchy. Cleaned pots, switches. Cleaned tube sockets which helped. Will need more cleaning but a salvable unit. Sold as is. For repair/parts.
