Hand Crank Magneto Generator Thingamajig

So this thing was found in an estate clean out and I have no idea what it’s for. My guess is educational equipment or display. When you crank the handle the armature spins much faster than the handle and the power input shaft has a device that pushes a breaker open and closed as if it’s to create a spark or timing/pulse. The two magnets are removable, the screws are flathead to imply vintage but I’m really not sure. If it’s vintage it’s in great shape. 4 mounting holes on the bottom. Operates smoothly. Not tested for current and it don’t “shock” you to turn it and touch the terminals It has two. If you know what it is please let me know. Thank you
