H.D. Abring “von Daguerre Bis Heute” Vol. I, II, III – Hard Cover Books “from Daguerre to Today” by H. D. Abring. These are in German, I don’t know if they were ever printed in English. Excellent condition with a little bit of corner bending. See photos. Inside is near mint to mint. These volumes show many illustrations and hundreds, if not thousands of cameras. There are indexes showing what appears to guide you to over 3,000 images of cameras. There is no information in the books indicating when they were printed. There are comments which state he started the project in 1973 and the 3rd volume was written around 1981. This is a highly regarded set of books on the history of photography.
