GREAT ANTIQUE c.1900 NATIVE AMERICAN HAUDENOSAUNEE BLACK ASH BASKET WITH HANDLES

Anantique Native American basket, featuring curled wood accents & gracefully arched handles. Dates to the c.1880s-1900 era; fresh from an excellent local estate collection. Skillfully hand-crafted from black ash splints. An Eastern Woodlands piece, the basket was found in Western New York State, and is most likely a Haudenosaunee design. It measures approximately 13 1/2" high by 10" long by 7" wide. The basket is in overall good condition for its age. Carefully stored & cherished by the previous owner; clean & ready for display.
