Hard to find WW2 German Essenbehalter. This is a hard to find original WW2 item. Waa'd, maker marked and dated 1942. It was used to bring hot meals to front line troops. Essential part of every field kitchen or Gulaschkannone. Great for field use, reenactor use or living history display. Original paint present. Not cleaned....in as found condition. It is a metal container with an aluminum 12 Liter insert. The aluminum insert has a couple of small holes that can be epoxied or welded shut to be made water tight. I will let the new owned decide this. Outer shell is good shape with no Holes. Seals are present as are the carrying handle pads. US continental sales only. Check out my other auctions.
