The Postal Service Cover is a FEB. 26,1929, First Day of Issue cover featuring George Rogers Clark. Clark was a prominent figure in American history. He was known as ,"The Neglected Hero of the American Revolution"! The cover was issued in Washington, DC, with the cancellation number 6-football stamp. It has an attractive plate block of 4, 2 Cent stamps on the cover. This collectible item is a piece of United States postal history that commemorates the life and contributions of George Rogers Clark. A nice, attractive cover which I found in a box of postal Covers.
