I only used this for a week in my baby's nursery. (no, he did not touch it) While the sound is really good, there is no way to turn off the connect/disconnect tone, so i have to find a speaker that would allow me to turn off the connect/disconnect tone. I really did like the sound quality. I don't have the box, and you can find the instructions online. Maxwell says this has seven hours of battery life. I haven't tested that claim.
