Description
From the sellerGary Green Jasper, also known as Larsonite or McDermitt Jasper, is a rare material found near the Oregon–Nevada border around the town of McDermitt. It is believed to have formed from ancient petrified bog wood buried by volcanic ash roughly 11–15 million years ago, with minerals replacing the original wood and creating its striking blue, green, cream, and earthy patterns. Highly prized by lapidary artists and collectors, Gary Green Jasper is known for its scenic, almost painterly appearance and is considered one of the more unique American lapidary materials. This is a 2 cab lot, the circle has been back for stability. All sales are final.
