Fiskars X11 2.7 Lb Splitting Axe with 17" Carbon Fiber Handle Resharpened

Used once to split some logs about 3 to 4 inches X 18 to 24 inches long. Held up really good despite picking up a small nick on the edge which is common with these hand axes. Nonetheless, took it to my worksharp belt sander and got it nice and blunt once again. Probably would be better if I had put a micro-bevel on the edge but it does shave the hair on my arm. I stropped and oiled this axe as you can tell in the photos. I have too many axes and blades, so I think I will pass this one on. It will come with its original plastic sheath and I am including a small compact alcohol stove, handmade by me. Thanks for stopping by!
