Fenton “Lafayette with Washington Valley Forge” Vintage Brown Slag Glass Plate. In EXCELLENT CONDITION. No chips, cracks or dings. Measures 8” in diameter. Inscription on back says: “In recognition of the friendship of The Marquis De Lafayette on the bicentennial anniversary of the nation he helped bring into being The United States of America. At Valley Forge in 1777, the young volunteer, Lafayette, and his new commander, George Washington, began a friendship that was to last the rest of their lives.” Sold as is seen in photos.
