Description
From the sellerUNDERLYING DISPUTE - MacPherson sent his horse to be shod by blacksmith and farrier John Moody. When told it belonged to MacPherson. MacPherson’s servant was present and reported the allegation. On May 5, 1766, MacPherson wrote a letter to David Hall ( Benjamin Franklin’s printing partner) to be printed in the Pennsylvania Gazette outlining the false claim.
