From the sellerExtremely Rare 1800s Victorian Metal Memorial Cast Of A Lost Child Keepsake. Very Heavy! A common practice throughout history was to make a cast of a loved one who past away. Such as death masks. This one was cast from a child. It's solid metal and its very heavy. Weighs over 1.7 pounds. For it's age it's in great condition and has excellent patina. This is a rare find!
