Description
From the sellerUdet's 1931 trip to the Cleveland National Air Races proved to be a turning point in aviation history. His story inspired Carl Zuckmayer's famous play 'The Devil's General.'. Udet, holding his flying goggles, was Germany's second-highest scoring ace of World War One with 62 aerial victories - second only to Manfred von Richthofen, under whom he served in the legendary Flying Circus.
