From the sellerThis beautiful miniature Native Gold specimen features buttery, grainy Electrum and iridescent, blue-tinged Galena in a Smoky/Cloudy Quartz matrix. The silver content is discernible in the pale yellow hue of the gold, which has a soft, popcorn-like appearance. A galena vein cuts through the quartz perfectly. This specimen comes from the Carolina Slate Belt, specifically a blind lode deposit in the Fall Line zone on the eastern edge.
