This cylinder style dulcimer capo will last a lifetime. It features heavy pads on the side and a durable silicone pad on the bar to accurately hold the strings in place without leaving indents. Simply push down on the the bar and tighten the knob and you are ready to play. Fits dulcimers with 1 3/8" to 1 3/4" wide fretboards and minimumn 3/4" height. Capos allow you to change the key (or mode) by changing the tuning and effectively changing the scale of the dulcimer. No player - beginner or expert should be without one.
